1. When people today are so quick to forget about problems that once so deeply haunted them (eg. the oil spill, An Inconvenient Truth, etc.), what can we do to help them remember and encourage them to advocate change?
2.Upon becoming more aware of the problems facing our generation regarding the environment, I find myself altering my ways of life to more sustainable practices, but what can I personally do to affect change on a large scale?
3. What do you think it will take for us to truly care about and worry for the environment and the future of our species? What will it take for us to change our unsustainable ways of life?
3. When reading the chapter on the Warehouse and the Wilderness, I was very much inclined to read the Wilderness Story as a religious tale. I that that that was unfair to those who support the Warehouse story; because not all people who do not believe that there is a greater purpose to life are careless in regards to the environment. In fact, most non religious people who I know are much more concerned about the environment than my religious friends, and I wanted to know what your thoughts were on this as well as what role do you think religion (and lack thereof) plays in regards to how we interact with our environment?
